Chris Nichols

One of my old high school friends has pointed out that I spelled "consumers" wrong in my own profile. (consumres). He suggested that maybe I was targeting a hispanic audience...preety funny, and to think I never took Spanish.

I knew I was dooming myself to a lifetime of typographic and spelling corrections by the Blog readers. My buddy who posted was always a better speller than I was anyhow. Also, I freely admit that I type about 45 words per minute, using my index fingers and thumbs (for the space bar0> My error rate is off the charts bad. Classic hunt and peck that I blame on getting a computer in 5th grade and "teaching" myself how to type. By the time I got to High School and they actually offered "typing" (now "keyboarding") it was too late, I was ruined.

In fact, about 3 weeks into typing, I thought I was going to get a "D" on my report card so I switched over to Chorus, the only class available at the same time. My singing was only marginally better than my typing, and I can tell you that I was one of 4 guys in a class of 40, and the only person to miss choral performances to play on the varsity football team.

Keep the comments coming, maybe I'll be able to track down my typos.

Chris
